Hi everyone,

Sadly, this year's bouldering competition will be cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Your safety is paramount, and physical distancing would be nearly impossible with the current event model.

We hope that we will be able to host the event in 2021, and we will re-evaluate the possibility of this early next year. In the meantime, stay safe, practice physical distancing, wear a mask, and follow local ordinances to flatten the curve.

THE RULES
Scoring will be based upon the climber’s five hardest climbs of the day. Each climb must be written on the score sheet and initialed by another climber. Scoring is on the “honor system” but keep in mind we will have event judges roaming the climbing areas.

If a competitor scores two or more climbs in a higher scoring bracket, the climber will automatically be entered into the next level of competition. ie: A climber that enters the beginners brackets scores 3 V7’s on his score card will be automatically entered into the Open bracket.

Bonus points will be given for a problem completed on the first try.

All score sheets must be returned to competition headquarters at Blue Granite Climbing Gym by 3:00PM to avoid penalties or disqualification. There will be a penalty of -400 points if scorecard is not returned by 3PM.

*If there happens to be heavy rain all day, the competition would move to the following day.

**It is free to climb and attend this event.

Experience a one of a kind outdoor rock

climbing competition!
